We do not use cookies to track you, to measure how you use the site or to show you advertising. Browsing this website does not place any cookies on your device, which is why you will not see a cookie banner.

If you choose “Pause background motion” on our home or About pages, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage, under the name soar-motion, so the moving sky stays still when you come back. It is stored only when you ask for it, it stays on your device and is never sent to us, and it is removed when you resume the motion or clear your browser’s data.

Some articles may include a video hosted by YouTube or Vimeo. Nothing loads from either service until you press play. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode and Vimeo’s “do not track” setting, but once a video plays the provider may store information on your device under its own policy: see Google’s privacy policy and Vimeo’s cookie policy.

SOAR staff who edit the website use a cookie that lets them preview changes before they are published. It is set only when they open the content editor and is never set for visitors.

You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser’s settings. Doing so will not affect how this website works for you.
